At the same time, we focus on reducing environmental impact, improving energy efficiency and creating a safe and future-focused working environment across our global organization.
Sustainability is embedded in how we operate, innovate and collaborate with customers and suppliers worldwide. Our ESG approach is built around four focus areas: Impact on Life, Circularity, People & Planet, and Responsible Supply Chain.
Impact on life
Our technologies support innovations across semicon, defense & mobility and connectivity. Across these markets, we help customers develop reliable and high performance electronic solutions for demanding environments and mission critical applications.
Alongside manufacturing, our engineering and design capabilities support product optimization, energy efficiency and lifecycle improvements. By combining technology expertise with industrialization capabilities, we help customers bring future focused technologies to market.
Circularity
Extending product lifecycles and reducing waste are key elements of our sustainability approach. Through our Circular Services activities, we help customers improve resource efficiency and reduce environmental impact by offering repair, refurbishment, requalification and component harvesting solutions.
By keeping products, components and materials in use for longer, we reduce the need for virgin resources, lower waste generation and help decrease greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain. Our circular solutions also improve system availability, shorten lead times and strengthen supply chain resilience compared to full new-build replacements.
To support the growing demand for circular solutions, we continue to expand our Circular Service Center capabilities across our global footprint, including further investments and capacity expansion in Asia.
People & Planet
Creating a safe, inclusive and future-focused working environment is an important part of how we operate. Across our global organization, we invest in employee development, health & safety, wellbeing and diversity & inclusion, helping our people grow and perform at their best.
At the same time, we are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations. Our efforts focus on improving energy efficiency, increasing the use of renewable electricity and maintaining high environmental standards across our sites. Most Neways locations are certified according to ISO 14001, supporting a structured approach to environmental management and continuous improvement.
Responsible Supply Chain
Our supply chain plays a critical role in achieving our sustainability ambitions. Together with suppliers and partners worldwide, we work to strengthen transparency, responsible sourcing and sustainable business practices throughout the value chain.
Our expectations regarding environmental, social and ethical conduct are defined in our Supplier Code of Conduct and supported through supplier engagement, assessments and continuous dialogue. We encourage suppliers to align with internationally recognized standards and to actively contribute to environmental and social improvements.
In addition, we continue to enhance collaboration and data transparency across the supply chain, supporting responsible sourcing, climate action and long-term supply chain resilience
Climate Action & Targets
Reducing greenhouse gas emissions across our operations and value chain is a key part of our sustainability strategy. In 2025, Neways’ near-term greenhouse gas reduction targets were officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), aligned with the 1.5°C pathway of the Paris Agreement.
We commit to:
• Reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 54.6% by 2033
• Reducing Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 61.1% per million EUR value added by 2033
To achieve these targets, our climate transition plan focuses on renewable electricity procurement, electrification, energy efficiency improvements, circularity initiatives and collaboration with customers and suppliers to identify opportunities for decarbonization across the value chain.
To support transparency and continuous improvement, Neways also maintains a group-wide EcoVadis rating and participated as a CDP discloser in 2025.
Governance
Sustainability is embedded in the governance structure of Neways.
Through our ESG Committee, we monitor sustainability priorities, targets and progress across the organization and report in alignment with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
