
Component Engineer / Technical Administrator

What will you do as a Component Engineer?
Our team of Component Engineers are the experts when it comes to electronics components. Both components we use today, and components that we will choose in the future. Within the team, you are the one responsible for the quality and maintenance of the Components Database, ensuring, for example, that the logistical and technical information of the components is available in the systems. You are the Engineer who, among other things, assesses the life cycle of a component and provides an alternative if a component is end-of-life or not available.

You are the expert at the interface of Component Technology and Engineering
Your duties include:
- Maintaining and extending expertise in electronics components to become a true Component Technology expert;
- Introduction and registration of electronics components;
- Modifying and distributing component information;
- Assessing and following up Product Change Notices (PCNs) of component manufacturers;
- Guarding the quality and maintenance of the Components Database;
- Continuously improvement of processes and procedures.

Your profile and DNA:
- A MBO degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics;
- Knowledge of electronic components, and the drive to stay up to date with the latest developments in your field of expertise;
- Proven affinity with administration;
- Knowledge of Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) is an advantage;
- Good communication and writing skills in English.
