This is how you make an impact as the Learning & Development Manager

As the Global Learning & Development Manager, you are a professional with a proven track record. You report directly to the CHRO and work closely with HR teams worldwide. In this dynamic role, you lead the planning, development, and implementation of innovative and challenging L&D programs that ensure Neways and its over 3,000 employees in Europe, Asia, and the US continue to develop, learn, and innovate

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Formulating the vision, strategy, and execution of the L&D policy in co-creation with the business and HR colleagues, aiming to optimize L&D for our teams, employees, and leaders thereby enhancing our organization.
  • Developing, managing, and continuously improving a Learning Portfolio, aligned with the strategic ambition and developmental potential of our organization, fostering continuous learning for our employees in an innovative, cost-effective, and inspiring manner.
  • Creating and implementing a Learning Management System for all development activities, including L&D calendars, program catalogs special learning pathways and e-learning.
  • Furthering workplace learning and providing measurable contributions to Neways’ ultimate results.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous learning and development leveraging technology’s full potential for faster scalability.
  • Building a network with key suppliers such as schools , universities, and other knowledge centers to consistently deliver effective and inspiring learning and development practices on a global scale.

This is what you bring to the team

  • Academic working and thinking level
  • Minimum of eight years of international experience in Learning & Development- supplemented with broad business and change management knowledge and experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in transforming organizations with an effective L&D strategy
  • Energy and drive to realize (behavioral) changes in a systemic and meaningful way, coupled with a strong personal vision on Learning and Development
  • A broad network in “Learning & Development” and awareness of development in similar organizations
  • Resilient, flexible and future-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English are required; knowledge of German is a plus
