What are you going to do as a Process Specialist Procurement?
As a Process Specialist Procurement you are responsible for analyzing existing processes for the functional area of all purchasing related processes within the order fulfillment process for the whole Neways Group, existing of different operating companies. With your knowledge and experience, you are capable to set out realistic development paths and achieve an efficient and solid purchasing process with the local purchasing and corporate procurement departments. As a purchase expert, you are part of the corporate supply chain management team. Furthermore, you maintain close contact with the IT department to ensure that the process methodology is efficiently supported by technology (ICT) tools.

Your tasks also include:
- Develop a vision for the purchase process for Neways as a whole;
- Develop (continuous) improvement projects and supporting tools;
- Development of business cases (technical/financial) in order to implement the purchase process improvements;
- Support and follow up on implementation of the standardized purchase process;
- Advice regarding all aspects of purchase processes;
- Evaluating the process improvements that have been implemented;
- Maintaining good business relations with other business process specialists and process owners;
- Assisting purchasing & planning departments in solving process and change related issues;
- Contribute to bridging the gap between operational business and the Neways Strategy.

Your Profile and DNA:
As a Business Process Specialist Procurement, you are entrepreneurial and communicative. You know how to create a solid basis for changes within a developing organization. Due to your respectful way of convincing, you are able to bridge contradictions and exercising authority. You find connections by good social skills and a tactful attitude. Furthermore, you are analytical and have an eye for improvement opportunities. Next to this, you are able to maintain an overview of the business, without losing sight of the important details. An inventive, creative and hands-on attitude is necessary.
Furthermore, we ask:
- Master’s degree in the field of supply chain management, business administration, or equivalent experience;
- You have some experience as a buyer, planner or supply chain engineer in an industrial environment;
- Thorough ERP knowledge, preferably Baan4 / Infor;
- Knowledge and experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes is a plus;
- Experience with purchasing processes and logistic agreements/contracts with suppliers;
- Experience with project management skills are highly recommended;
- Good communication skills in English;
- Willingness to travel to and work at other Neways subsidiaries, including internationally for approximately 25% of your time.
