As an Account Manager Development, you will expand new business and sales. From a commercial perspective, you supervise projects aimed at developing high-tech electronics solutions for clients in the healthcare and industrial automation sectors. What will you do as an Accountmanager Development?

As an Account Manager, you are responsible for the further development of new business and sales at existing accounts. You know how to increase the turnover and to further develop the accounts. You know how to correctly coordinate sales processes for both our client and the entire internal organisation. You have intensive contact with Project Management and Systems Architects to review the progress of the projects and initiate improvement initiatives where necessary. There is also (daily) contact with team leaders and/or project leaders from our customers, which challenges you to act in a technical project environment.

The Account manager Development is the commercial consultant who supports all new development projects for our customers – Ninja Bakermans (Business Manager – Neways Technologies)

Your duties will further include:

  • maintaining the Development & Engineering relationship with existing customers and representing Neways Technologies with those customers;
  • supervising the execution of projects from a commercial perspective (in addition to technical content and organisational aspects);
  • supporting the key account manager and business developer with regard to new product developments and proposals for the customer;
  • guaranteeing and realising a correct and timely follow-up of quotations;
  • responsible for the entire RFQ process;
  • further development of cooperation with the other operating companies.

Your profile and DNA:

  • At least a completed higher professional education (hbo), preferably in a technical direction;
  • At least 5 years technical commercial work experience in a business-to-business environment;
  • Experience with product development is a must, experience with project management is a plus;
  • Work experience within our industry or demonstrable technical affinity and interest;
  • Good communicative and written skills in Dutch and English.
