What will you do as a HR Officer

In the field of recruitment and labour market communication you work at the intersection of HR and Marketing: together with our recruiters and marketing & communications you put Neways on the map as an employer in the Dutch and German labour market. By conducting attractive and effective labor market campaigns and communicating on our social channels, you explain why working at Neways is so appealing. You will also increase awareness of Neways as an employer among students at colleges and universities and, through our referral programme, continuously challenge the internal organisation to recommend new employees. In our professional international matrix organization, you will work closely with the HR professionals of other offices and contribute to the coporate recruitment and development activities.

Besides your work in the field of recruitment, you will mainly be involved in learning & development. The development of our employees is of paramount importance at Neways. By setting up so-called e-learnings, you contribute directly to the personal growth and development of our employees.

In this position, you will work closely with the HR Manager and the HR Assistant. You function as a team and support each other when necessary. This means that in addition to your focus areas, you will also regularly work on other HR topics, such as absenteeism, labor law, advancement and outflow.

Your duties will include:

  • Support hiring managers and recruiters in the recruitment process;
  • Point of contact for recruitment & selection and secondment agencies;
  • Coordinate the onboarding process and the employee journey;
  • Create content in the context of Employer Branding and prepare the content calendar in collaboration with corporate HR and Communications;
  • Co-organize events aimed at students and job market;
  • Coordination regarding the lease cars: you are the intermediary between the employees and the fleet manager.

Your Profile and DNA:

  • A bachelor degree, preferably towards Management , Economics and Law (MER), Human Resource Management or Marketing;
  • Demonstrated affinity with employer branding, recruitment, learning & development and general HR work;
  • Strong communication skills and command of English at a professional level. Command of the German language is an advantage;
  • Creative, eager to learn, networker and results-oriented;
  • Knowledge of the Dutch labor market; knowledge of the German labor market is a plus;

  • Willing to travel to our office in Erfurt, Germany, once a month.
