Sam de Bruijn appointed VP Semicon Solutions to accelerate Neways’ semiconductor growth
We are pleased to welcome Mr. Sam de Bruijn and announce his appointment as Vice President Semicon Solutions at Neways, effective 17 August 2026. In this role, Sam will lead and coordinate all commercial activities within the Semicon Solutions Business Line across Neways.

Sam brings more than twelve years of international leadership experience in the high-tech electronics industry, commercial management, strategy, business transformation and general management. Throughout his career, he has built global account management organizations, led corporate strategy initiatives, managed complex international customer relationships, and held executive leadership positions across Europe and North America. He has a strong track record in driving commercial growth, strengthening strategic customer partnerships, and translating long-term strategy into disciplined execution.
At Neways, we have continued to invest in our global footprint, technology capabilities and integrated way of working to prepare for the next semicon growth cycle. As market momentum builds, driven by AI, advanced packaging and increasing semicon investments, we are well positioned to deepen strategic relationships with leading customers and further expand our position in this attractive market. Sam’s appointment marks an important step in strengthening our semicon business.
In his role, Sam will define the strategic priorities for the Semicon Solutions Business Line, with responsibility for topline growth and margins across the business line. He will coordinate business development, global key account management and commercial activities, while driving the positioning of Neways with leading semicon customers and strategic ecosystem partners. Together with our operating companies and functional teams, he will ensure an integrated approach across technology, engineering, operations and program management, strengthening our semicon capabilities and accelerating sustainable growth across Neways.
Sam will report directly to Michiel van der Maat, Chief Commercial Officer of Neways Electronics, ensuring close alignment with our overall commercial strategy and growth ambitions. He will also join the Executive Committee. This integrated model will further strengthen our semicon business across Neways, enabling us to respond effectively to customer needs while building on our technology leadership and operational excellence.
